A Bean's Tale of Running

Hi. You may be wondering why the weird title? It may even be the reason you’re at all giving interest to this blog in he first place. Well...I'm not gonna tell you why it’s called this, yet! I'm a Senior Exercise Science student with a final goal of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I use to be a swimmer but then became a college student and ate and slept. To my dismay the freshmen 15 had mauled me. So, due to my two unstoppable friends I began to run...actually it was more of an attempt to move on land when I knew the only grace I ever had was in water. I ran my first 5 miler the Bethlehem Christmas City Classic 2008. And, I did another first the Steel Man Triathlon 2009 at Lake Nockamixon. I've now started a running blog which I have no clue how to really manage just like my running. I am now training..I think, I hope for my first Half Marathon and olympic distnace tri. So, join me as I learn how the heck to write a running blog and how to run.

WARNING:

For all you grammar savvy folks out there be forewarned. This is a blog that is created from the mind of a most enthusiastic endurance athlete..at least I like to think myself one. Day 7: What's This, WHAT'S THIS?!?!?!

RE-E-E-E-E-DEARS....What is happening to meeee. I'm so sleepy and my head feels all wobbly wobbly wobbly. Great scott...could it be mono, or maybe a dietary imbalance.
Readers...the sleepy is hard to overcome..but I will...for..YOUUUUU!
So, I guess I need to hop on over to wellness....and get checked out...I think a blood test will be in the mix. (I HATE THOSE THINGS!!!) *shivvveerrrr*


What's that Readers? Stop complaining...oh readers you are a heartless lot aren't you. No no, you are right a positive mindset is key....

Have you ever thought that your thinking has more power over what you do? Well it does..lets look at a comment I once wrote....


Flute Man: I ♥ the Flute :)..... I just wish I could play it...
THE FANTASTIC BEAN: If you keep saying that you can't play the flute...you will never be able to meet your full potential. What you believe, what you say, is reflected in the final outcome. By keeping a mind set around a goal and thinking "I can do this, I am great, I will improve more and more" you will. Negative thought = negative outcome Positive thought = positive out come. Having your mind around an idea or goal helps guide your actions in the direction of that goal and therefore you find the path to reach that goal.
